hungry for knowledge

i’m at home. spent the morning attending my aerokickbox class. i’m looking at the pile of laundry to be done and now i’m feeling hungry. Didnt take anything for breakfast except soymilk. I ate a moderate lunch, fish n veggies n some chicken and it only costs me m4.50 – very the cheapest lah.

This is the only day i’m at home this weekend because tomorow i will be attending osconf. Installfest is the favourite track but i only have an old powerbook with me, so with a ppc/g4 architecture, less than 10gigs onboard, i guess i don’t have the luxury to join the crowd. pity me i’ll be more of a observer than trying to do the  install hands on. 

intending to flip thru my freebsd book tonite just to make sure i have the correct mental setup (yeah i know im a tech junkie). Previous week i managed to configure a simple samba server at the office using freebsd. the hardware is very old a compaq proliant g2. my only problem is we have an extra scsi hardrive that can’t be formatted and mounted.  we have one solaris box laying around, the os is solaris 8 ( i think). opensolaris might be a good option to test after coming back from the conference.

im ready n counting the hours to OSCONF 2009…

Update on my car

KIA didn’t process my car on monday and i got a call today saying i have to send in my car tomorrow.

tunggu kawan pulang
