Like the title? i copied the headline from a business card i received from an old man in front of Dataran Merdeka.

On the card, peculiar enough without a phone number or any means to contact him is written:

Arise to the Crystal Glowing Sun above The Zenith Sky All at Home upon Peace The Love A Family Loveliness of Hearts. Purity of emotions Have the Loving glance and say Love is most refine. Every impression…

It was around 11 am, Friday. He approached me with a salam and smiled. Introduced himself as a poet, and continued talking about sending his work to the library and other stuffs i couldn’t catch-up. There i was standing beside my car puzzled and couldn’t comprehend his intention. At first i thought he mistakenly took me as a librarian bcoz theres a public library nearby. His words were like from an educated fellow, or someone who reads a lot. Because of his eloquence, i thought i should give him attention. Then it struck me, i finally understood that he is making his life by selling poetry. He shoved an envelope to me, on it scribbled a word – “Guidance”"

Soon i realized that he might need help. An old man like him wondering around carrying a small bag i believe filled with lots envelopes. Oh god… I pitied him. Maybe he is sick.. mentally, i dont know. I couldnt help myself but to be judgmental.

Without haste i pulled out my wallet, gave a him some money and took the envelope. He thanked me and wished me good luck. Then he gave me his card, for which i still keep while writing this entry.

The content of the envelope? Let just say i shall keep it to myself. May Allah bless him and keep him safe. Its a cruel world out there.
